Course Contents
This course runs for six hours and thirty minutes, between 9.30am – 4pm and can serve a maximum of 4 people.

- Managing worksheets
- Writing formula
- Using Excel functions
- Working with percentages
- Absolute addressing
- Sorting data
- Filtering data
- Working with dates
- Date functions
- Creating charts
Prerequisites
This course is available to those of any age, although it is recommended that learners have a minimum of Level one literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Delegates should have: Basic, general use of Excel. This course is designed for those who are not beginners but would like to improve their skills and further their knowledge.
The course offers the opportunity for learners to build on their existing skills, explore and practice further functions and also learn ways of using Excel more efficiently and effectively.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course delegates will be able to use and apply the functions and features listed in the syllabus. They will have learned techniques for ensuring data integrity and making their own work with Excel more efficient.
Delegates will be provided with comprehensive course notes and a personalised attendance certificate. Windows laptops are provided for delegates’ use.

Attendees should remember to bring one form of photographic ID e.g. passport, driving licence, or two forms of non-photographic ID e.g. birth certificate, utility bill.

£130 per delegate (instant teas and coffee available, a snack lunch is also provided).
