YMCA Bournemouth Christmas Concert with Bournemouth Male Voice Choir

YMCA Bournemouth is delighted to invite the whole community to an uplifting Christmas themed concert featuring the much-loved Bournemouth Male Voice Choir. Held at the historic St Peter’s Church on Hinton Road, this special evening promises beautiful harmonies, festive warmth and a shared sense of community spirit at a time of year when it matters most.
This free event is open to everyone and no booking is required. Guests are warmly encouraged to bring a Christmas gift for someone experiencing homelessness or facing housing vulnerability. Gifts donated on the night will go directly to the people YMCA Bournemouth supports throughout the winter and beyond.
There will also be a raffle, a retiring collection and refreshments available during the interval, helping to raise vital funds for the essential services YMCA Bournemouth provides locally.
Speaking ahead of the event, Gareth Sherwood DL, Chief Executive of YMCA Bournemouth, said:
““Christmas is a time when hope comes alive and when community means peace on earth and good will towards one another. This concert is more than an evening of wonderful music. It’s an opportunity for us all to come together, to show kindness and to make sure that people who are struggling or alone know they haven’t been forgotten. If you’re able, please bring a small gift. It will make a bigger difference than you can imagine.”
YMCA Bournemouth works year-round to support people experiencing homelessness, those who are vulnerably housed and young people and families in need. Funds and gifts donated through this event will help ensure that individuals facing difficult circumstances can still feel the warmth, dignity and joy of the festive season.
