Please Support Mark Benham

Mark Benham is taking on the TCS London Marathon 2026 to raise vital funds for YMCA Bournemouth, helping ensure young people in our community have the foundations they need for a full and rewarding life.

Every donation will help YMCA Bournemouth provide support including,  guidance, friendship, better physical and mental health and access to real opportunities for those who need it most.

Mark said “It’s an honour to be invited to be part of Team YMCA at the London Marathon 2026.”

Mark will be sharing his training journey in the lead-up to marathon day – please consider sponsoring him and cheering him on every step of the way.

Why your support matters

Many young people have never had consistent safety, stability, or encouragement and others can lose these foundations as life changes. YMCA Bournemouth exists to make sure young people can belong, contribute and thrive, providing the critical building blocks for a fresh, strong start.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Mark for choosing to run the TCS London Marathon in support of YMCA Bournemouth. Every mile he runs and every donation he inspires, helps us continue providing the foundations young people need to feel safe, supported and able to move forward with hope. Thank you, Mark, for standing with young people in our community.”
Gareth Sherwood, CEO, YMCA Bournemouth

Please donate if you can, share Mark’s page with friends and colleagues and help him reach his fundraising target. Together, we can make sure more young people across Bournemouth have the chance to build a better future.
