Applications are now open to run for Team YMCA in the TCS London Marathon 2026.

The TCS London Marathon 2026 will be held on 26 April 2026.

The deadline for applications to be a part of team YMCA is Wednesday 31st July and applicants will hear from the YMCA with the outcome of their application in August.

This year, the YMCA will not be allocating places on a first come first served basis. Instead, applications will be reviewed based on quality – with a passion for YMCA’s work and a solid fundraising plan, being key success criteria.

The registration fee will be £100.00 and the minimum sponsorship target will be £1,900 (totalling £2,000).

If you wish to apply for a place to support YMCA Bournemouth, please be sure to include YMCA Bournemouth’s name as part of the application process.

All funds raised for YMCA Bournemouth will be used to provide support for people who were homeless and are now part of the YMCA family.

“We believe everyone deserves a safe place they can call home, every stride taken in this marathon is a step towards giving hope and a home to those in need. Your effort is not just a run, but a share in the journey we run daily to change lives.”

Gareth Sherwood – CEO of YMCA Bournemouth

Our staff member contact for YMCA Bournemouth will be Christopher Wakefield.

You can find the online application form here or by contacting Christopher Wakefield, via email: christopher.wakefield@ymcabournemouth.org.uk or complete the contact form below.
