Open-Access Sessions – Mondays & Thursdays
Townsend Youth Club offers twice-weekly open-access sessions for young people aged 13-19 years on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8.30pm.
The project aims to engage young people in meaningful activities in their own neighbourhood. Youth workers provide support on topics such as healthy relationships, emotional resilience and CV writing.

Sessions are free of charge.

Facilities for Hire
Townsend Youth Centre, situated near Castlepoint shopping centre, offers a range of rooms and facilities for hire including a bright, open-plan area with sofas and a pool table, a kitchen facility and a small fitness studio.

Townsend Children’s Project
For younger children, Townsend Youth Centre is also the venue for a number of sessions for children aged 5-13 under the banner of the Townsend Children’s Project.
